Challenges & Opportunities
How does the theme inform a clear narrative/ that flows throughout the report?
How can the report be expanded beyond a traditional performance report, to tell a brand story?
Building on its strong parent brand foundation, the LREIT performance report aligns with the Lendlease corporate brand both from a visual and written perspective. Informed by a review of LREIT’s press releases and IPO communications, a text convention was crafted to standardise the language and tonality of the report.
Through a brand-driven approach, thematic spreads were introduced with messaging to tell the ‘Making a Mark’ story with pullout snippets integrated across relevant sections within the report, serving as proof points to punctuate the narrative.
The cover was designed to express a bold claim of marking LREIT’s first year in the listing market, visualised through a typographic approach accompanied by the brand’s iconic green and blue gradient corporate colours.
The overall page treatment is accentuated by a clean layout allowing a sufficient amount of space for better readability, as well as a consistent implementation of brand icons, colours, charts and diagrams to align closely with the corporate guidelines.
The photography styling takes on a more personal approach, featuring new images of the Chairman and CEO and updated office lobby interiors featured on the inside front cover.
In challenging times where AGMs are no longer held physically, every listed company has to think of smart and creative solutions to present their results virtually to their shareholders.
For LREIT, a set of presentation slide templates were crafted that adopted the ‘Making a Mark’ theme and layout whilst remaining in line with the corporate brand.
Supplementing the presentation slides were digital screen layout design proposals used as a reference template for the virtual AGM and paving the way for an interactive, digital reporting approach in the years to come.
